International arena polo at Hickstead
THE third Arena Polo Test Match took place at the All England Polo Club at Hickstead recently. The two teams playing were Scotland v England making it the only opportunity for UK based polo fanatics to enjoy an exciting arena International on home turf.
Scotland's 23 goal team: Chris Hyde (9), Jamie Le Hardy (8) and Howard Smith (6) played against England's Jonny Good (8), Jamie Morrison (7) and Sebastian Dawnay (7).
For the past few weeks the weather had been far from kind but on the day the sun did manage to come out and thanks to the purpose all-weather arena the game went ahead for the coveted Bryan Morrison Trophy., which had been won by England for the last two years
