It's a slog for Chichester athletes - but a worthwhile one

A total of 17 Chichester Runners battled over the undulating cross-country terrain of the Stansted Slog on Sunday with a host of fine performances over two courses of 13 and seven miles respectively.

In the longer race, over-50 competitor Dave Dorning led the club home in ninth place overall and won the top veteran's prize.

His time of 1.29.13 was an excellent effort over the undulating terrain and he was followed by Nick Casburn just one place and 18 seconds later.
