IT'S A STROLL FOR PORTSLADE

PORTSLADE Cricket Club's hopes of promotion from Division 3 were handed a double boost at the weekend.

Firstly they found out that they can play their league game against Middleton which was postponed on the first day of the season because of vandalism.

Then, they cruised to a five-wicket win at home to Storrington on Saturday to move up to third in the table. The re-arranged match with Middleton is likely to take place once the regular season has finished.
