Learn to play cricket with Sussex mascot Sid the Shark

HERE'S another chance to win a great cricket prize with Sussex Sharks.

The county and the Sussex Cricket Board are promoting Sid the Shark holiday courses which take place across the county in July and August.

The courses provide an excellent opportunity for youngsters to get into cricket in a fun and exciting way. Venues include Midhurst and Selsey.

In our competition, you can win two places on your local course plus a family voucher to watch the Clydesdale Bank 40 match between Sussex Sharks and Warwickshire Bears match on Wednesday, August 15.

There are two types of course on offer this summer:

A softball cricket course for children aged seven to 12 run over two, three, four or five days. These are lots of games with prizes to be won.

An introduction to hardball cricket for players aged nine to 14. This consists of four workshops run over two days which include batting, bowling, fielding and match play.
