Lewes FC seek new commercial manager

Lewes Football Club have begun the search for a new commercial manager to capitalise on what the club calls “an improving picture of sponsorship and advertising”.

The role has recently been shared between various Board directors but the club now wants to create a real focus for what is an important revenue area.

The commercial manager will handle everything from the club’s main shirt sponsorship through to pitchside advertising and creating new events.

Board director Charlie Dobres said: “With all the positive developments going on at the club now, as a Board we simply can’t create enough time to give sponsorship and advertising the attention they need.

“This isn’t just about revenue, it’s about building on the relationships we have already created with local businesses and making sure they feel in touch with all our ideas and plans.

“The local business community can offer us a unique perspective on the town and surrounding area and that can only help make us an even stronger club.”
