Given that this is their third competitive season, this is a significant achievement as they took on nine other established Sussex croquet clubs.

The star of the team was Mike Wilson who won all five of his matches. Everyone else played really well and in the end Lodsworth won nine matches and lost four.

At the presentation the teams were read out in reverse order and Lodsworth were announced the winners.

The cup was presented to the team who celebrated on the way home at the Swan Inn in Fittleworth.
