Louisa's goal will be to claim one of the 10 places available for European athletes in a field of 16 at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore from August 14-26.

The 15-year-old is the no.1 under-17 girl in Great Britain after throwing 53.92m - almost a metre-and-a-half beyond the qualifying standard for Moscow of 52.50m - at an open meeting in Crawley last month.

Louisa, a Claverham Community College pupil who holds UK age bests in all ages from 11-14, continued her fine form by winning the Sussex Championships, also in Crawley, on Sunday.
