Matthew does the double at Olympic festival
BOLNEY-BASED rider Matthew Sampson has come away from the Australian Youth Olympic Festival with two bronze medals.
He not only helped the British Show Jumping team clinch team bronze but picked up an indiviudal bronze medal himself.
Matthew (18), along with team mates Louise Saywell, William Whitaker and Daniel Neilson, secured the bronze medal after a closely-fought contest from start to finish at the games, which took place at the Sydney Olympic Park between January 14 and 18.
