Lewis Blackbird and Daniel Halsey will be the Eastbourne Eagles reserves for the 2014 season.
They were selected this afternoon (December 3) at the Elite League “draft” meeting at Rugby.
Blackbird rode last year for the all-conquering Dudley side in the National League having been part of the Mildenhall team which swept to honours the previous year. He is the son of former rider Carl Blackbird.
Daniel Halsey started his speedway career at Rye House and for the last three years has been a member of the Mildenhall team.
His father was a three-times British Grasstrack sidecar champion.
Eastbourne team manager Trevor Geer said: “The draft meeting was a big success and it has turned out well for Eastbourne.
“We are delighted to welcome Lewis and Daniel to our team. They are very committed riders and I am sure they will do well.
“I have talked to both riders and they are over the moon to be coming to Eastbourne. We will see what facilities we can offer them at Arlington for practise prior to the start of the season.”
Geer said he believed Blackbird and Halsey would thrive in the “family atmosphere” of the Eastbourne pits and would be able to learn much from the team’s senior riders.
