Draw made for Sussex matchplay golf trophy

EAST Sussex National, holders of the PAV Trophy, have a home second round tie against either Crowborough Beacon or East Brighton on May 21.

The draw for the Sussex Inter-Club Matchplay championship, held at ESN’s own Uckfield headquarters, sees the champions receive a first round bye. The popular competition starts on May 7 with 15 matches as follows (local teams in bold): Mid Sussex v Chichester; Lindfield v Ham Manor; Brighton & Hove v Holtye; Seaford Head v Hollingbury Park; West Sussex v Waterhall; Crowborough Beacon v East Brighton; Highwoods v The Nevill; Peacehaven v Piltdown; Rustington v Royal Ashdown Forest; Selsey v Ifield; Bognor v Pyecombe; The Dyke v Hassocks; West Hove v Cooden Beach; Eastbourne Downs v Boars Head; Chartham Park v Dale Hill.
