Eastbourne Eagles have missed out on a place in this year’s Elite League play offs.
Defeat at Birmingham in their final match on Thursday saw them slip out of the top four.

However, they fell to a series of heavy defeats, capped at Birmingham.
Up to the half-way stage the Eagles were the better side but then collapsed as the home team stepped on the gas.
Final score: Birmingham 56, Eastbourne 34.
