The Cap Vermell Beach Hotel, Mallorca, is welcoming golf lovers with open arms with new partnerships at four of Mallorca’s top, 18-hole luxury golf courses.
Located in the beautiful valley of Canyamel on the north-east coast of Mallorca, the historic beach hotel is only a 10 minute drive from Mallorca’s internationally recognised courses and is now offering guests 10 per cent off golf bookings.
Mallorca is a golfer’s paradise; year-round sun allows visitors to make the most of the 23 golf courses across the island. The Cap Vermell Estate is in a prime location with four superb, 18-hole courses only a ‘decent seven-iron’ away: Canyamel Golf Club, Pula Golf Club, Capdepera Golf Club and Club de Golf de Son Servera. The courses vary in difficulty and are firm favourites with a number of celebrity regulars including Rafael Nadal and Boris Becker.
About the Four Courses:
Canyamel Golf Club: Just two kilometres from the Cap Vermell Beach Hotel, the Canyamel Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 73, course, created by architect José Gancedo in 1988. The course celebrates stunning sea views and is also embedded in to a bird and turtle sanctuary, the turtles not uncommonly being spotted on the course.
Pula Golf Club: Pula Golf Club, founded in 1995, was recently redesigned by two-time major championship winner and Ryder Cup star José María Olazábal between 2004 and 2006 to satisfy demands of international and professional golf. Over the years, Pula Gold has hosted top events such as the PGA European Tour Championships Mallorca or Olazábal & Nadal (Rafael) Invitational, among others.
Capdepera Golf Club: Designed by the famous US architect Dan Maples, Capdepera Golf Club is set back in to the gorgeous Mediterranean countryside; its 15th hole has repeatedly been voted the most beautiful hole on Mallorca. Many regard Capdepera Golf course as the finest and fairest in Mallorca and a true test for high and low handicap players.
Club de Golf de Son Servera: The 18 hole, par 72, Club de Golf de Son Servera, is the second oldest club created by John Harris and Francisco López Segalés in 1967. The course boasts glorious views over the bay of Cala Millor from below the mountains. Both experienced and rookie players will enjoy their game through challenging lakes and bunkers.
Following sun-filled days on the golf courses, guests can relax in this newfound area of Mallorca with a refreshing cocktail at Cap Vermell’s Restaurant ‘Vintage 1934’.
The restaurant is characterised by a charming terrace showcasing sweeping panoramic views over the bay. As the sun sets, guests can indulge in the restaurant’s first-class cuisine in a laid back Balearic setting, with excellent service and specialities including fresh local fish and lobster.
The quaint Cap Vermell Beach Hotel has 12 Mallorcan-style rooms with en-suite bathrooms and private balconies boasting remarkable views of the Bay and surrounding area, thanks to its exceptional beachside location; it is a haven of peace and tranquillity.
