Hellingly gear up to face Chichester Thirds this weekend after their match was postponed last Saturday against Crawley.
Hellingly will be disappointed at not having the opportunity of retaining second place after their match failed to go ahead, due to a water logged pitch. Their crunch match with Crawley will now be postponed to another date.
Nigel Gossedge’s men dropped to fourth place, out of 12 teams in Sussex Spitfire One, with Burgess Hill and Brighton Seconds overtaking them after winning their respective matches.
They will have the chance to get back to winning ways this Saturday when they travel to Chichester, a side who are sixth in the league and are on an impressive run of three wins on the trot. Chichester beat Holbrook away last weekend, 7-26.
