Lewes FC young Academy players will be given help with writing CVs and improving interview skills as a result of a new partnership formed by the club.
Lewes have announced a new ‘top-level’ sponsor for 2013 in Foyne Jones.
The specialist recruitment agency has come on board as an Academy sponsor and the club’s ‘Official Recruitment Partner’.
Rooks Marketing Director Charlie Dobres said, “Though Foyne Jones specialise in recruiting people to the construction suppliers and manufacturing industry, they have built a wealth of experience in employability: in other words, how to get yourself a good job. This is a great fit with our new Academy.”
Foyne Jones is creating an ongoing programme of advice sessions for the club’s Academy students. The 16/17 year olds will learn practical skills such as CV writing and interview techniques to go along with their sports qualifications and football training.
“The football club has made it clear they want to support the Academy students in every way possible, including finding work to go alongside their football development path,” said the Rooks.
