Eastbourne Eagles finally got track time as a team on Sunday after hopes of a full-scale practice day on Saturday were washed out.
Many of this year’s Eagles have been skidding at the Arlington Stadium over the last week but Sunday was the first time that all seven were on track.
New Russian signing, Denis Gizatullin, drove from Poland to Polegate to link up with Eagles’ team boss Trevor Geer late on Friday.
He was at the press and practice day on Saturday but fans had to wait 24 hours to see him in action.
First match of the season is this coming Saturday (March 24) when the Eagles take on Belle Vue at home in the Elite League (7.30pm).
