Move over Sir Steve Redgrave - we're rowing all out for glory

A STEADY stream of people took up the challenge of seeing how far they could row at Chichester's Get Active festival.

The big attraction was the chance to win membership of Westgate Leisure or free swimming sessions - and the centre gave competitors a boost by putting up four prizes instead of the two they had initally promised.

The winner in the adult category was John Alford, while the 12-15 age-group winner was Chloe Fenton. Th duo each win six months Premier+ membership at Westgate Leisure.

Aiden Collings took the honours in the eight-11 age group, while Tilly Jarvis followed suit in the seven-and-unders. These two have both won four free swimming sessions at Westgate.
