Murphy hails season's best

TWO GOALS from Tony Gallagher in the final 15 minutes helped Angmering Football Club lift the Centenary Cup last Wednesday.

Division 1 side, Angmering, who finished the league season fifth, fell behind in the fifth minute when Michael Woolston struck for Premier Division Eastergate.

Within seconds, though, Angmering had drawn level. Jamie Atterwell shot home from seven yards after a ricochet in the penalty area.

Angmering dominated the closing stages of the first half, forcing five corners in succession and Tony Gallagher shot over, then straight at Eastergate's keeper.
