Neighbouring Findon yards open for exclusive tour

EVENTING Olympian Tina Cook and her brother, successful National Hunt racehorse trainer, Nick Gifford, threw open the doors of their neighbouring yards in Findon to members of the British Eventing Gold Medal Club recently.

Around 25 members had travelled from as far afield as York and Sheffield for this initial event for the newly formed club, which gives members exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to top event yards all over the country, plus course walks with international riders, all for just 25 a year.

It was a spectacularly good launch for the new venture, for it gave an insight into the big part Tina also plays in the racing operation at Downs Stables, where Nick is now trainer, as well as her dedication to eventing, with racehorses and Miners Frolic on show.
