New year, fresh challenges for Tone Zone runners

Last weekend saw many Tone Zone Runners brave the cold to enter what was for some their first races of the year.
On Saturday five runners braved neck-deep icy water, energy-sapping mud and biting wind to compete in Hell Runner at Longmoor Camp in Hampshire.

Hide AdSunday saw runners compete on the roads at the Stubbington Green 10k with Jess Thomson running an amazing race, knocking more than a minute off her previous best.
Also on Sunday, on the far side of Sussex, was the Denbies ten-mile in aid of the British Red Cross, with Cheryl Laing and Alison Gilbert flying the club flag.
Some 17 runners took part in the Bognor Park run. This free 5k event takes place at Hotham Park every Saturday at 9am. It saw Jean Morris achieve a PB last weekend.
