Norfolk are Sussex Top Club champions
NORFOLK Bowls Club's women are the Sussex Top Club champions. They will now meet the champions from Buckinghamshire in the next round.
Norfolk claimed the Sussex title when they defeated Polegrove at Peacehaven by winning three of the four rinks on Saturday.
All four games were close with Lin Curtis winning her singles match by just one shot. The triples team of Brenda Mockett, Jean Nicholson and Ann Parsons won by two shots with the fours side of Angie Johnson, Jean Smith, June Taffurelli and Terri Finch victorious by three shots.
Norfolk's pairs of Lesley Napper and Sheila Botting were their only losing rink.
