Air Cadets’ commanding officer named

WORTHING reader Ian Hunt spotted his uncle in last week’s August, 1977, presentation picture.

Do you know the people pictured at Arundel Park in August, 1977?

Ian, 57, of Pavilion Road, said: “I’m 99 per cent sure the man wearing the RAF uniform in the photo is my uncle, Harold Hunt. He was the commanding officer in the Worthing branch of the Air Cadets in the 1960s (45F squadron).”

Ian said he was born and bred in Worthing but he didn’t really know any more details about the presentations made by Lavinia, Duchess of Norfolk.
