Here is their statement in full:

The Crawley Town Community Foundation is saddened to hear of the passing of its former Chairman and Trustee, Vic Marley.

Vic served as the Trustee of the Foundation from July 2012 to July 2020 and its Chairman from July 2012 to November 2019 when he stepped aside for the Trustees to elect the new Chairman to help effect smooth transition during his last remaining months of serving the maximum term as a Trustee.

Vic was instrumental in the development of the Foundation and the success under his stewardship included turning the deficit to a healthy surplus in the early days. Vic was also an enthusiastic and passionate supporter of the Foundation’s activities.

Our thoughts and best wishes are with Vic’s family at this moment in time.
