Quadruple-winning Wigmore Athletic players identified

Readers wrote in to name the players in this photo of the quadruple-winning Wigmore Athletic football team from the 1949/50 season.

Charles Walker and Gerry Broxham both identified Geoff Elms as the goalkeeper.

Gerry, along with Richard Voak, also named the player fourth from left, on the back row, as Dick Young.

They were all outdone, however, by Laurie Claydon, who managed to name all the remaining players, including Sammy Harris, far right on the front row.

Laurie also corrected the spelling of the player fourth from right on the back row, as Harry Hansell.
