Bede’s pupil Ella Mackellar also won the individual competition at the 80-85 level.

The Eventers’ Challenge involves show jumping and Arena XC fences and requires competitors to jump a clear round within an optimum time.

Katy McKeogh, Equestrian Team Manager at Bede’s, comments, “We are so proud of the team for all that they have achieved in this year’s NSEA competition, which is testament to all of their hard work and dedication to the sport.

“The nationals was a fantastic, well organised event with strict measures in place which allowed everyone to take part safely.

“We are looking forward to starting training again and getting back to more regular competitions.”
