The former Haywards Heath RFC coach will have a focus on driving playing performance across the senior squads. He is an experienced Level 3 qualified coach with extensive experience.

Even though there was lots of interest for his services, he selected Horsham for the combination of ambition of vision, excitement of the playing project, new challenges and familiarity with the existing coaching team.

Despite being only age 30, he is now in his 12th season as a professional player as a full-back/wing at Harlequins having broken into the first XV in 2009.

Chisholm was born in Sussex and lives just outside Horsham. He started his rugby career as a Mini and Junior at Haywards Heath and more recently has just completed a term as the Joint Lead Coach of their 1st XV.

Chisholm said: “I am hugely excited about the challenge of joining Horsham. I have always held a good relationship with Nick, Adam, Wes and the rest of the coaching team built over coaching experiences with Sussex and a friendly rivalry in the league.

"I was struck by the clarity of playing philosophy, the health of the wider club and a very talented squad all of which combine to make this project a real draw, one that I am very excited to undertake.
