Murphy gives verdict on Fontwell Park Friday runners

12:30pm – Fearless
This is Fearless’s first run of the new season. He’s done well for a break and I’ve been pleased with his work at home. He won his last start at Market Rasen, so he must shoulder a penalty, but I think the trip, track and ground will all be in his favour. His experience against these rivals will help him and he looks to have a good chance on ratings.
1:00pm – I K Brunel
I K Brunel has his first start over fences. His schooling at home has been very good under regular rider Adrian Heskin. It looks a trappy race, but he was the highest rated of these over hurdles and the conditions will be right up his street. He’s proper chasing type and I’ve been looking forward to sending him over fences, ever since he walked into the yard. Hopefully, he has a clear round of jumping and this is a stepping stone to bigger things. He’s had plenty of work, but he will improve for the run.
