Sold-out signs go up for new Chichester race

The Chichester Harbour run on Saturday February 8, contains three different distances - 5k, 12.9k, and 15k. The event is timed and will have water stations on route to keep participants hydrated.

Organised by UK Running Events, the off-road Thorney Island trail route allows stunning views of the harbour, with an additional loop around the top serving views over Witterings, Prinstead Bay and the surrounding South Downs.

There are several categories for participants to join with walkers and Nordic walkers and entranta with dogs all catered for.

Those taking part receive a medal, free parking and a finishing certificate.

Meanwhile places are still available for the Chichester inflatable 5k run on Sunday, May 10, at Oaklands Park.

The new course will involve participants tackling 28 gigantic obstacles, alonside a foam zone powered by a giant foam cannon.
