The first race takes place at 12.45pm with the finale at 5.20pm. Four of the races are live on ITV Racing, including the feature £45,000 Group Three Supreme Stakes (3.35pm). We’ve previewed the pick of the action with tips and analysis.

The Supreme Stakes is staged over seven furlongs and has an excellent field of seven runners. D’bai (7/2) heads the betting for Charlie Appleby having enjoyed success at Haydock earlier this season. He finished a creditable sixth behind stable companion Space Blues in the Group Two Lennox Stakes at Glorious Goodwood in July and is of interest here for the Newmarket trainer who is currently enjoying a 26% strike-rate in the last two weeks.

Happy Power (4/1) had run a number of good races in defeat, including when behind D’bai at Haydock, before getting his head in front at Salisbury last time out. That win would have done his confidence the world of good and he boasts solid form at Goodwood, having finished fourth in the Sussex Stakes and third in the Celebration Stakes last season.

Snazzy Jazzy (6/1) was third to D’bai at Haydock in July and he looks primed for this assignment, having been given a break since.

Cloak Of Spirits (9/1) was second to Love in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket on her first start of the season, but has struggled to scale the same heights in three runs since, latterly when third in a Group Three event at Deauville in France and is another to note.

Escobar (8/1) represents David O’Meara and finished an excellent third in the Group Two Lennox Stakes at Glorious Goodwood before disappointing when only seventh in the Group Two City Of York Stakes on the Knavesmire last weekend.

Toro Strike (12/1), a smart winner of a handicap event at Goodwood in July looks capable of further improvement as he steps into Group company, whilst Sunday Star (12/1), third in a Group Three event at York in July, completes the interesting seven-runner event, which is live on ITV Racing on Sunday.

The £20,000 nine-furlong handicap (3.00pm) is another race to note. Native Tribe (9/2) was a game winner at Sandown last season and made a good reappearance after a gelding operation at Sandown in August. He is another who should go close here along with Fiji who ran well when fourth in the Listed Cocked Hat Stakes at Goodwood, before finishing a good second at Newcastle last month.

The six-furlong handicap (2.25pm) is another interesting event and features the progressive Chairmanoftheboard (7/2) who is a course and distance winner. Another to note is Atalanta’s Boy who was well-beaten in the Stewards’ Cup last time out, but had previously run a number of fine races in defeat.
