Peacehaven end Town's run

STEYNING TOWN FC player-manager Mark Dalgleish will demand a significant improvement from his side after their heavy defeat at Peacehaven on Saturday.

It ended Town's five-game unbeaten run and Dalgleish said: "It was the worst we have played this year. Peacehaven played well and made us look very silly at times. Dave Angell was magnificent in goal and they would have scored a lot more had it not been for him.

"Other than Dave, Greg Hearne looked dangerous up front and Chris Duffett, Rob Menzies and Lee Waterhouse did well but everyone else has got to buck their ideas up. We've got plenty of people in the reserves who are waiting for their chance in the first team."
