There were 478 runners who finished the race, with many using it as a warm-up for the London Marathon, which takes place next month.

Hosted by Worthing Harriers, the event started and finished at Goring 
Gap and consisted of four laps of a fast and flat five-mile circuit.

The winner was Thomas Stevens in a time of 1hr 56mins 01sec, as he finished more than a minute clear of second-placed Paul O’Callaghan, of Tadworth, who got home in 1-57-23.
