Players wanted for tennis league

TENNIS players in Adur and Worthing have the opportunity to get competing again this summer when the Adur and Worthing Singles Tennis League re-starts.

Open to men and women, aged 18 and over, the league is designed to make it easy for adults to keep playing and competing, whether they are a member of a club or not.

Anyone is welcome, whatever their standard, and players are graded into groups and have eight weeks to play their matches, which they arrange at a mutually convenient time.

Any court that suits both players can be used. There are prizes for the winners of each group and everyone who completes three matches by the halfway point is posted a free can of balls.

The next eight-week round runs from May 29 to July 23. Entry is £12 at www.localtennisleagues.com/adurandworthing/joinnow
