He is a PTR & USPTA Certified professional, LTA Level 4 CCAP qualified and RPT Europe National Professional. He has worked with players from all over the world, and has just returned home after 11 years running some of the most successful programs and clubs in the USA.

We are extremely fortunate to have Jon heading up the team in Plumpton, so do not delay if you would like to avail of our very experienced coaches, Jon and Sorin. Jon is also bringing an indoor “Tennis Bubble” to the club, which is causing great excitement and also means an end to “rain stopped play”.

Lessons at the club commenced week beginning 7th September, but all visitors welcome to the Open Day, where new members can be allocated coaching slots for the coming term.

WHAT’S HAPPENING ON SEPTEMBER 13?

Play tennis free throughout the day. Our coaches will be on hand to offer taster sessions, advice and coaching tips. Take on the ball machine and see how many returns you can hit. Racquet Ray of Intersport will be on hand with lots of demo racquets to try out. There will be a wide array of homemade refreshments including sandwiches, cakes and drinks, to make sure you don’t run out of energy. Why not enjoy lunch or afternoon tea?

You can park and just walk over the station footbridge, or alternatively approach from the North/Ditchling common. Turn off South Road to Plumpton at the Plough Inn. Otherwise from Lewes, follow the A275 towards South Chailey and turn at Honeypot Lane for Plumpton.

We are a not for profit organization, run by volunteers and committed to helping people enjoy our sport. We run after school club sessions in many local schools.

Membership charges are amongst the lowest in the county and two children in the family get free membership if their parents join. Special Offers on Open Day. Hourly court hire is another option. We run courses tailored to all ages and standards. “Tennis Tots” (3-5 years old), “Rusty Racquets” and Saturday “Drop in” sessions are very popular. We have competitive “teams tennis”.
