PROMOTION HOPE GONE?
PORTSLADE started the season belie-ving they had a great chance of promotion to Division 2 but after seven games their hope looks to have all but gone.
They are third from bottom after they suffered their fourth loss in seven games, at home to Felbridge on Saturday. Although, they have a game in hand on most teams, captain Sam Jones thinks his side will have to win all of their remaining nine matches to have a chance of going up.
Jones said: "Unless we win the rest of our games promotion is out now. But, if we can win four or five of our remaining games then everyone will now we are a force and we can then build on that and look to go up next year."
