Racing to a special birthday
A Plumpton woman will be celebrating her 40th birthday saddling up as a jockey for an Easter Monday race at Plumpton.
Naomi Newman will be fulfilling a lifetime's dream when she rides in her first flat race at the local track.
The place in the race was a birthday present with a difference from her husband and Naomi, of Station Road, wa sthrilled when he successfully bid for it at a silent auction at Plumpton last Easter Monday.
