Raiders go top after Taunton victory

WORTHING Raiders Rugby Club climbed to the top of National 2 South this afternoon (Saturday) with a 22-18 win at Taunton.

Raiders put in a hard-fought victory, while former leaders Richmond lost their first game of the season, going down 37-24 at home the Henley.

Worthing now sit top of the league with 61 points, one clear of Richmond’s 60.
