Rare defeat for Clymping

CLYMPING Cricket Club suffered their second reverse of the season on Saturday but stayed top of the Division 3 table.

Bognor, who have won each of their matches which they have finished, have moved to within 11 points and have a game in hand. Third-placed Horsham Trinity also have a match more to play than Clymping but are 29 points behind.

Clymping were put into bat and got off to a bad start when Roger Green was bowled with just the second ball of their innings. Gareth Challen was out shortly afterwards and Sam Orchard and Stuart Murray also fell in quick succession which left Clymping 42-4.
