REBELS NOT SO CASUAL

EXPECTATION was the order of the day as Worthing looked forward to a confident win and a large FA pay-out when the formality had been completed of despatching Combined Counties League opposition from Woodside on Saturday.

A year ago, the infamous Herald line of 'Bognor Regis 1,000, Worthing 0' followed the 1-0 defeat at Nyewood Lane that condemned Rebels to FA Cup oblivion and the prize money that comes with progression in the competition. But this season, advancement looks more likely.
