Roll along to learn those Western riding skills
A NEW Western Riding centre has been opened at Manor Farm, Tortington Lane, near Arundel, where Matt Luckin and Marissa Gillen will be holding Western Riding clinics and trail ride.
Manor Farm is a Western and English livery yard, but for the past few years Marissa and Matt have been working towards establishing the new centre.
The centre and yard is based on a working farm with arable land and cattle. The couple's intertest in Western riding stems from time spent in Australia during 2000 when they stayed on a ranch and spent time working cattle with horses.
They have now started a breeding programme for their own quarter horses with the first foal due in April.
