Rooks go down to league leaders

Lewes slipped to eighth in the Conference South when they lost 3-2 to top-of-the-table Weymouth at the Dripping Pan on Saturday.

Weymouth held a 2-1 lead at half-time, Jean-Michel Sigere scoring for the Rooks from the penalty spot.

Weymouth scored again in the 51st minute, with Sigere netting Lewes's second 12 minutes from time.

Ringmer are now 12 points clear in the County League Division One following a 3-2 win at Crowborough. Mickey O'Callaghan, Julian Curnow and Dominic Shepherd scored the goals.
