Raiders announce warm-up games
WORTHING Raiders Rugby Club have announced two warm-up matches ahead of their National 1 season.
Raiders will entertain Championship side Cornish Pirates on August 17, before they host fellow Sussex side East Grinstead, who won London 1 South last season, on August 24.
The National 1 campaign begins on September 7, when Worthing have the long trip to Wharfedale, north Yorkshire.
Their first home game at the highest level that they have ever played is the following week, on September 14, when they play Blackheath.
