Rocks Review: Good and bad news from the treatment room

A scan on Dan Beck's collarbone is being checked in the hope he can be passed fit for the Rocks clash with Whyteleafe on Saturday.

The skipper has been out since the end of February but has recovered well.

Steve Harper’s Achilles problem looks to have cleared sufficiently for him to be considered for a start while Harvey Whyte is expected to have recovered from illness.

But centre-half Osa Obamwonyi has been recalled by Sutton and the Rocks do not have the video evidence needed to support an appeal against the red card issued to Stuart Axten, who will miss three games starting next week.

That leaves Ben Andrews as the only recognised senior centre-half for the final two games, but Brighton youngster Callum Sheriff and utility man Sonny Cobbs are potential stand-ins - although Cobbs suffered cracked ribs at Worthing and is unlikely to play on Saturday.
