Breach, from Felpham, said: “I can’t believe I’ve won. I didn’t think I had a chance.”

Breach started playing rugby when she was about six after going to Chichester RFC with her brother and dad John, who played for them.

She played mixed rugby through the age groups then moved into girls’ rugby with South Sussex Barbarians and then Pulborough.

An England call-up for the Under-18 European sevens championship came last year and Breach played in every game, scoring nine tries as her team lifted the trophy.
