Bognor’s Elvis Millen played in Hampshire under-17s win over Sussex at Horsham.

Hampshire soon took a 7-0 lead and it was 10-5 at the break.

Sussex had their moments but Hampshire went on to win 36-17, with loose head Millen having an excellent game.

Millen is one of a number of young Bognor players making superb progress.

His dad Doug, a key figure at Bognor, said: “We’ve got a great bunch of lads that are already making a positive impact on senior rugby at the club as well as doing well for themselves. The club’s in a positive place and the future looks bright.”
