First was the Junior run with 63 taking part, followed by over 268 senior runners who took on the 5-mile course. Commencing at Lancing Manor and taking in the spectacular scenery of the South Downs, in the glorious sunshine and blue sky, it was a far cry from the torrential rain and wind of the 2023 event.

The race was won by Michael Daly from Horsham Joggers in a time of 29m 53s. Graham Russ from Steyning Athletics Club came second, for the second year in a row in 30m 6s and Michael Priest from Haywards Heath Harriers came third in 30m 53s.

The event raised vital funds for Turning Tides and included a cake and biscuit sale which was scrumptious!
