Runners on their marks for Horsham Joggers annual 10k

A field of 434 runners took part in the annual Horsham 10k on Sunday including a fantastic 62 home competitors from Horsham Joggers.

Neil Boniface won the race, which started at Horsham Rugby Club, coming home in an impressive 34min 04sec, nearly a minute and a half in front of Ben Gibson of Haywards Heath Harriers in second and Gary Judges in third.

For the ladies, Sue Fry of Hailsham Harriers was first home in 38-50 followed by Camilla Bishop (Brighton & Hove AC) and Anne Matthews (Crawley AC

There was also a brilliant turnout for the junior race where 100 young runners were led home by winner Nathan Buckeridge, while Isobel Russell took the honours in the girls’ race. Full Full story, report, reaction and pictures in this week’s West Sussex County Times.
