RUSTINGTON INTO LAST EIGHT
RUSTINGTON made life hard for themselves before progressing to the quarter-finals of the Vernon-Wentworth Cup on Saturday.
Defending champions Rustington '“ who will now play Brighton League side O&G United '” found themselves a goal down at half-time to Worthing League champions GSK Sports, but a second-half comeback sealed their passage through for relieved Rustington boss Gareth Davies.
He said: "We battled hard in difficult circumstances and, in the end, comprehensively deserved to go through."
