Saxons close in on play-off

South Saxons go into the final game of their league campaign knowing that victory will secure a promotion play-off spot.

Saxons will clinch second place in South Hockey League Sussex Area - Division One - and with it a showdown against Kent runners-up Tunbridge Wells on April 9 - if they win away to East Grinstead IV on Saturday.

Pete Watters’ side will go into the game full of confidence on the back of a 7-1 victory at home to Middleton & Bognor last weekend.
