School's first in dressage
YOUNG horse riders from Burgess Hill School for Girls experienced their first dressage competition at a recent National Schools' Equestrian Association County Show Jumping and Dressage Competition at Great Bookham in Surrey.
The competition was the first time the school had fielded dressage teams and the first time young riders Jess Charles and Rachael Hawkins had competed in a dressage competition and they began in the Novice category.
