Seven year-old from West Sussex represents Great Britain in the Golf U7 World Championship 2025

At five-and-a-half years old, Billy Stott, near Slinfold, West Sussex, picked up his first golf club and began hitting golf balls down at the local driving range back in May 2023.

With a natural eye for the ball and with support from Mum, Dad, sister Lara and his coaches at Slinfold Golf Club, Billy started to enter the local junior competitions around West Sussex, placing in the top three on each occasion.

Over the course of the 2024 season, Billy began to enter more widespread competitions including the US Kids Golf Tour and the prestigious British Junior Golf Tour.

Over the course of his first season Billy's highlights have included winning the U6 Tour Championship with US Kids and placing second in the 2024 British Junior Golf Tour Championship.

With a strong first season, he has been invited to represent the UK in Marbella, Spain at the Daily Mail World Junior Golf Championship which takes place in February 2025.
