Sharks in the Caribbean: Sussex look for second win

Sussex Sharks aim to get their Caribbean T20 campaign back on track this evening (Saturday) and cash in against a Romel Currency-captained Combined Campuses & Colleges side, at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua (8pm GMT).

The Sharks were defeated by 50 runs on Thursday in North Sound against a rampant Jamaica side, who had beaten CC&C earlier in the week taking their tally to two wins out of two. However, Sussex will be hoping to bounce back against CC&C before moving on to Barbados for the final leg of the ground stages.

A win for Sussex tonight would put them back into contention to qualify from the group and they will have a keen eye on results elsewhere should victory ensue for Yardy’s men. But CC&C will be no pushovers and they will be looking to West Indies international wicketkeeper-batsman Chadwick Walton to inspire them, as he bludgeoned four fours and five sixes in his knock of 66 against Jamaica on Tuesday.

This match will be broadcast LIVE on ESPN UK but you can listen online to full ball-by-ball commentary by following the link from this page.
